Samer Selbak (1991) is a Paris based Palestinian designer, graduated with an MA degree from the École des Arts Décoratifs in Product Design in 2022.
Throughout his studies he searched to redefine the role of the designer, in the intersection between art, design, and the political context in which he grew up in.
Aiming to harmonize aesthetical ideas with a deeper understanding of societal relevance, this fusion has since become the cornerstone of his creative exploration.
Drawing inspiration from his Palestinian roots and its rich historical knowledge, his use of natural materials and traditional savoir-faire, reflects a profound exploration of the intricate relationship between humanity and the natural world.
